ICAP Membership Types
The Institute of Certified Administrative Professionals (ICAP) is dedicated to advancing the careers of administrative management professionals through certification, education, and a supportive community. Becoming a member of ICAP means joining a network of like-minded individuals committed to excellence in the administrative profession.
Student Member
If you are working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Office Administration or another related field, student membership may be an option for you.
If your school is accredited by ICAP, you may be able to join as a student member for free. Click here to find the list of accredited schools.
Associate Member
This level is for applicants who have at least 2 years of work experience in administrative related job functions. This is also applicable to those people that have completed the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) program but haven’t yet passed the CAP certification exam.
Certified Member
This level is intended for those who have already earned their Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) accreditation and passed the exam.
Fellow Member
This level is reserved for members of ICAP who have been with the Institute as active members for a minimum of seven consecutive years.
